My small sacred fireplace/altar that I made with broken tiles and cups. Perfect to fill with candles and incense and pictures of Timothy Leary and such! A small reminder to " Turn On Tune In and Drop Out" when we enter our home.
The perfect Autumn day at the downtown post office. Love that mackerel sky!! What a great day to collect my mail!
Absolutely breathtaking. The crows cawing overhead with their call bouncing off of the nearby buildings made for even a more magical experience. These are the things that make it easy to breathe in the center of a huge metropolis, like Phoenix.
Across the street from the post office is The Westward Ho. A real Phoenix landmark and was quite the fancy place to be, back in the day. Personally, I still think that it is "quite the place to be". It was also in the opening scene of "Psycho".
Where the ladies still where fur coats and pillbox hats, gloves and loads of sparkling jewels.
Free Spirit with flowers in her hair!
My sister's garden. In the beginning of the growing season this year. I can't wait until harvest! She always shares...generously! mmmmmm
More organically grown foods.
A small bird sanctuary. A place to wet their whistles.
Have a seat! An abundance of Agave!
Pomegranite.
Urban garden. (my sister's)
Inner city paradise. This is one of the views from one of the patios at my sisters. It is so peaceful and in the heart of downtown Phoenix (even more gorgeous at night).
Sacred space full of zen.
A space in the shade to set your spirit free and to rest your body and mind.
